SAM 9-meter RIB

SAM 9-meter USV

Navatek’s ETM® SAM (Seakindly, Anti-Slamming Monohull) hull form is optimized for very high ride quality, including improved overall seakindliness and stability at speed and rest. It features a variable deadrise hull with tunnel sponsons (amas) that reduce slamming, pounding and stuffing. Navatek offers both a RHIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) version and a USV (Unmanned Surface Vessel) version of the ETM SAM hull form.  In January 2009, Navatek delivered two, 30-foot (9-meter), all-composite, ETM SAM USV craft to ST Electronics, a division of Singapore Technologies Engineering (Singapore) which is developing a USV, named Venus, to meet naval requirements in the region. SAM 30 craft are offered with either props or waterjets.
