parent company Pacific Marine is the owner of Pacific
Shipyards International (PSI), the largest private shipyard
in Hawaii. Navatek Ship Construction leases space at the
PSI shipyard to build, modify, repair and maintain Navatek-designed
advanced technology demonstrators. Tracing its corporate roots back
to 1920, PSI has a combined workforce of 200 experienced production
employees skilled in steel and aluminum fabrication, welding, pipefitting,
mechanical, machining, and preservation and coating services. Its
facilities include two floating dry-docks (the largest capable of
handling vessels up to 6000 LT).
